    Ripon Medical Center offers ‘Gentle Yoga’

    Join Jenni Borell, E-RYT, a certified integrative yoga for seniors instructor and certified essential low back program instructor, to release tension, increase range of motion and energize through this slow-paced, therapeutically-oriented class. This class is suited for all ages and abilities.

    “Gentle Yoga” is scheduled from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Mondays, April 3, 17 & 24 in the RMC Wellness Center, 845 Parkside Street, Ripon. Individuals should bring a yoga mat and throw blanket to each class.

    Easter Egg Hunt in Wautoma

    Easter Egg Hunt will be held Saturday, April 8th at 1:00 PM, at Grace United Methodist Church in Wautoma for children ages 1-12. Please bring a basket for collecting eggs. Prizes awarded! The church is located at N2133 Southgate Terrace (near the Senior Center off Hwy. 22.) Public is welcome.

    Foundation for Ripon Medical Center to host Denim & Pearls April 8

    The Foundation for Ripon Medical Center is hosting its annual Denim & Pearls fund-raiser on Saturday, April 8 at Ripon Medical Center, 845 Parkside Street, in the hospital’s Atrium.

    The event begins at 6 p.m. Participants are invited to wear their favorite denim and pearls, and come to enjoy a fun, relaxing evening with music, delicious food and many opportunities to support this great event. Tickets are $40 each.

    Denim & Pearls will also feature a silent auction with many items, including a sunset cruise on Big Green Lake, club level seats for a Milwaukee Brewers game, complete auto detailing, golf packages, and box seat tickets to a Fond du Lac Dock Spiders game.

    Participants will enjoy handcrafted artisan beer from Knuth Brewing Company, and wine from Vines & Rushes Winery. Jazz Vocalist Ron Williams will provide entertainment.

    Proceeds will help support women’s breast health services at Ripon Medical Center through the purchase of a Neoprobe Gamma Detection System. This system helps physicians more precisely target affected breast tissue during a minimally-invasive surgical procedure to remove cancerous tissue. The end result is a quicker recovery time and the removal of less breast tissue.
