  • The Nutman is coming to Ripon Medical Center

    The public is invited to attend a candy and nut sale by The Nutman Company, sponsored by the Ripon Medical Center Auxiliary, on Wednesday, February 1. This event is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. by the Ripon Medical Center Atrium by the gift shop.

    The Nutman Company features 150 fine quality nuts, chocolates, snack mixes and candies at reasonable prices! This is a great opportunity to pick up a special gift or satisfy your sweet tooth.

    Proceeds benefit Ripon Medical Center programs and services. Visa and MasterCard are welcome.

    New this year is a Bikini and Novelty Run at 3:00pm.  All money for the 3pm event will be donated to the Wisconsin Pink Ribbon Riders.

  • RMC Auxiliary hosts second annual flower sale

    The Ripon Medical Center Auxiliary is sponsoring its second annual flower sale to help raise money to support Ripon Medical Center programs and student scholarships.

    Order forms feature a variety of hanging baskets from Bloch’s Farm (Green Lake) and are available at the Ripon Medical Center information desk and gift shop, or by visiting agnesian.com/volunteers.

    Completed forms, along with a check for payment, can be dropped off at – or mailed to – the Ripon Medical Center gift shop (845 Parkside Street, Ripon).

    The deadline for placing an order is March 15, 2017. Flowers will be ready for pick up at Bloch’s Farm from 2 to 6 p.m. on Friday, May 5, and from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, May 6.

  • Green Lake Bird and Nature Club Meeting

    The meetings of the Green Lake Bird and Nature Club are open to the public, and anyone is welcome to attend. We typically start at 6 PM, and the meeting with a presentation usually lasts about two hours. The club will also have periodic field trips throughout the year, and hold an annual bird festival on the last Saturday of April.     Area high school seniors who plan to pursue a career in healthcare are invited to apply for scholarships offered by the Ripon Medical Center Auxiliary and the Arlene Fenner Family Endowed Scholarship Fund.

    Three $1,000 scholarships and one $500 scholarship are being offered to eligible students who attend one of the following schools: Green Lake High School, Markesan High School, Princeton High School or Ripon High School.

    Applications are available at area high school guidance offices, Ripon Medical Center information desk, and online at agnesian.com/scholarships or foxriverscholarshipcenter.org.  Be sure to use the 2017 Ripon Medical Center application. Applications must be postmarked by March 15, 2017.

    The Ripon Medical Center Auxiliary will host a Collective Goods (Books are Fun) sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, February 23,  in the Green Lake Room, located in Ripon Medical Center, 845 Parkside Street.

    The Collective Goods book fair features quality books and gifts at 50 to 75 percent off retail price, and includes bestsellers, children’s, reference, hobby, nature and wildlife, sports and gift items.

    The book fair is open to the public, and all proceeds will benefit Ripon Medical Center patient programs and services.
