Holiday Basket Raffle Tickets

Raffle tickets are on sale at Future Omro office on Monday, November 27, 2017 and at local businesses thereafter with gift baskets on display beginning November 27th at the Omro Community Center. Winners will be drawn at Future Omro’s Annual Meeting on Wednesday, December 6, 2017, you need not be present to win. Proceeds from the baskets stay local by helping to fund community initiatives.

Cookie Walk containers are NOW on sale at the Future Omro office (130 Larrabee St., inside the Community Center). Participants will enjoy over a dozen cookies to collect from local businesses throughout Omro. $5 per container and can good (for Police & Fire Dept. Holiday Baskets). There will be FREE sleds for the first 5 participants to complete and return the completed sheet to Future Omro.       

The Wautoma Rotary will be hosting Wautoma’s Christmas Parade on Thursday, November 30th. The parade line up will begin at 4:30pm on Park Street. The Parade will start at 5:30pm on Main Street by the Post Office and will continue West towards the WWII Memorial Building. Following the parade will be a tree lighting with Santa and hot chocolate and cookies provided by Mayor Nixon. Lighted floats are encouraged and there will be prizes for best entries. Santa has also accepted their invite to be in the parade. Businesses located on route and surrounding areas are also encouraged to light up store-fronts and decorate!
