Think of a Plunge as a day-long adult field trip of exploration and learning! During the course of the day you will hear from experts who will share their thoughts and expertise on the root causes of poverty and how the local economy affects everyone. You will be joined by leaders from all sectors of the community including education, business, government, faith organizations, healthcare, non-profits and philanthropy who will all learn together. In the afternoon CAP Services will take attendees through a poverty simulation. The day will begin promptly at 8 a.m. at Wild Rose High School. A healthy breakfast and lunch will be provided. Dress is casual, comfortable shoes and clothes are encouraged. We will travel to different places via yellow school bus so comfort is important! This will be a full day ending at 4:00 pm.
