    The Ripon Medical Center Auxiliary will host a Collective Goods (formerly Books Are Fun) book fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, September 6 at Ripon Medical Center, Green Lake Room, 845 Parkside Street.

    You won’t want to miss this opportunity to purchase quality hardcover books at 50 to 75 percent off retail price! This sale will feature bestsellers, children’s, reference, hobby, nature and wildlife, sports and gift items.

    The book fair is open to the public, and all proceeds will benefit patient programs and services.

  • Ripon Medical Center to host winter clothes drive

    The Ripon Medical Center Mission Integration Committee is accepting winter clothes donations from September 9 to 26 to help area families in need as they prepare for back to school.

    Help keep students warm during the cold winter months by donating new or gently-used coats, hats and mittens. Sizes are being requested from elementary school age to high school age (adult sizes). Donations will be shared with Ripon School District schools.

    Donations can be left in a box, located in the Ripon Medical Center Journeys Commons (cafeteria) by Monday, September 26.

    In 2015, over a dozen artist from all over Wisconsin and as fas as Minnesota, set up their easels all over town to capture the setting of Princeton’s historic downtown and it’s natural beauty along the river and beyond. “En Plein Air” is a French expression which means “in the open air” and is particularly used to describe the act of painting outdoors. Onlookers were able to watch works of art unfold almost before their eyes, as artists worked to complete their paintings in time for the reception where a group of jury’s selects their top 3 picks for cash awards!
  • Wisconsin State Chili Cook Off Championship

    The 2016 Wisconsin State Chili Cook Off Championship sponsored by the International Chili Society will be held again in Green Lake at Deacon Mills Park.   Approximately 40 cooks will start cooking their favorite recipes beginning at 11am.   Spectators can enjoy the festive atmosphere mingling with the chefs and sampling their salsas and other hot items.  Chili sampling begins at 3pm when the judges will determine who the new champion is.  The Green Lake Rotary Club will provide a local DJ and live entertainment, as well as selling their own delicious chili along with brats, dogs, nachos and lots of cold drinks!

Governor has coined the phrase ‘concierge service for business’ to describe the Office of Business Development.
